Patrick Devanthéry

Patrick Devanthéry was born in Sion in 1954; he studied architecture at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), graduating in 1980. He was a member of the Swiss Institute in Rome in 1981-82 and was appointed assistant lecturer in the Architecture School at Geneva University where he oversaw the Modern Heritage and Conservation lecture series from 1988 to 1994. He was guest professor at the Graduate School of Design, Harvard University, in 1996 and 1999, and co-edited the Geneva-based architectural journal Faces – Journal d’Architectures from 1989 to 2004. He has chaired many international competition juries and was President of the Fédération des Architectes Suisses (federation of Swiss architects) in 2005-2007. He received the Meret Oppenheim Prize in 2011.

 
       
 

Thierry Décosterd

Born in Vevey in 1978; Swiss nationality. Studied architecture at EPF Lausanne, graduating in 2005 with a project entitled “Rome, towards a multipolar city. Redeveloping the EUR district”, supervised by I. Lamunière and C. Gilot. Internships at Emilio Battisti (Milan, 2002-2003) and n!studio (Rome, 2003). Joined Devanthéry & Lamunière in October 2005 and then dl-a office until the end of 2013, and dl-c office since 2014. In 2015, he became an associate and co-directs the dl-c company with Patrick Devanthéry and José Antonio Ramos.

 
       
 

José Antonio Ramos

Born in Lausanne in 1976. Studied architecture at EPF Lausanne. Graduated in 2001 with a project entitled Spaces for multiculturalism, supervised by P. von Meiss and M. Bassand. Internship at Galletti & Matter (Lausanne, 1998-1999) and worked at Atelier Cube (Lausanne, 2001) and AAS architecture (Vevey, 2001). Joined the team Devanthéry & Lamunière in February 2002 and then dl-a office until the end of 2013. He participates in the design and the realization of numerous building projects especially related to individual and collective housing. He became an associate with Patrick Devanthéry and Inès Lamunière in April 2012 with the creation of the general contractor called dl-c, company which he co-directs today with Patrick Devanthéry and Thierry Décosterd.

 
       
 

Enric Argemí Carnicer

Born in Barcelona in 1989; Spanish nationality. Studied architecture at ETSAV (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and EPF Lausanne. Graduated from ETSAV in June 2013 with a project entitled «La ciutat encantada. Centre cultural i complex hoteler al casc antic de Cuenca» supervised by J-M. García-Fuentes, J. Miàs and R. Brufau. Internships at Mias arquitectes (Barcelona, 2011 and 2013) and dl-a (Geneva, 2012). Joined the dl-a team in July 2013 and then the dl-c office since 2014.

 
       
 

Alfonso-Agustín González García

Born in Madrid in 1976; Spanish nationality – but Leonese at heart. Graduated in architecture at ETSAC, La Coruña, under Professor F. Ramos and IAUG (Institute of Architecture, Geneva University) under Professor H. Bresler (2003-2004). Worked at Burckhardtpartner (Geneva and Lausanne, 2005) before joining Devanthéry & Lamunière in January 2006 and then dl-a office until the end of 2013, and then dl-c office since 2014.

 
       
 

Kim Henny

Born in Geneva in 1972; Swiss nationality. Studied architecture at IAUG (Institute of Architecture, Geneva University) and then at EPF Lausanne. Graduated in 2000 with a project on the thermal baths at L’Etivaz, supervised by V. Mangeat, P.-A. Rumley and G. Daghini. Internship with Galfetti, Spitsas & Estoppey, Geneva in 1997 and with Jo Janssen in Maastricht (Netherlands) in 1998. Worked at François Kunz (Geneva, 2000-2002), at Devanthéry & Lamunière (2002-2007), Baillif & Loponte (2008-2009), Yves Habegger (2009-2010) and meier + associés sa (Geneva, 2010), before re-joining the dl-a team from January 2011 to the end of 2013 and then the dl-c office since 2014.

 
       
 

Carine Jaccoud

Born in Geneva in 1986; Swiss nationality. Studied architecture at EPF Lausanne, graduating in July 2011 with a project entitled Intergenerational living in response to an ageing population, supervised by P. Berger. Internship at dl-a in 2008-2009. Joined the dl-a team in August 2011 and then the dl-c office since 2014.

 
       
 

Clara Jousson

Born in Geneva in 1982; Swiss/French nationalities. Studied architecture at the HES School of Engineering, Geneva, graduating in 2007 with a project on Converting a former industrial building to residential use: the Artamis site, supervised by C. Zuber. Internship with DHZ (Geneva, 2003-2004). Joined dl-a in April 2008 and then the dl-c office since 2014.

 
       
 

Montserrat Ruiz De Villa Valdes

Born in Santander, Spain. Gratuated at the University Alfonso X El Sabio (Madrid) with a project entitled “Cave, Museum and Hotel at Toro wine region”. She also followed her studies in Architecture at the "Universitá degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza". Internship at Acciona Infrastructures in 2009. After joining Luis Vidal + Architects (LVA) in Madrid in 2011 and Guillaume Girod Architecture in Grenoble in 2012, she completed a Master of Science in Advanced Sustainable Design at the University of Edinburgh with the dissertation entitled « Effectiveness of the implementation of EPCs in the European context to comply with the Kyoto Protocol, raising the awareness on energy efficiency in buildings ». In September 2013, she moved to Geneva to work and since May 2015, she joined dl-c team.

 
       
 

Julie Simoes

Born in Champigny (near Paris) in 1989, Franco-portuguese nationality. Studied at the « Ecole d'Architecture de la Ville & des Territoires à Marne-la-Vallée » in France. Graduated in 2013 with a project entitled "The school as a catalyst for social interaction", professor Jacques Lucan. Worked in Archiplein’s studio (Geneva, 2014). Joined dl-c team in August 2014. Currently preparing the HMONP at the «Ecole d’Architecture de la Ville & des Territoires à Marne-la-Vallée» (FR).

 
       
 

Ana Vidal Fortanet

Born in Lucena del Cid, Spanish nationality. Studied architecture at « Escola Tècnica d’Arquitecture de Barcelona» (ETSAB). Graduated in 2012, project supervised by the professors J. Garcés, A. Obiol, et D. Ferrer. Internship at MYAA (London, 2010), worked as technical assistant for the creation of Euroceramica (Berrechid-Morroco, 2012-2013). Joined dl-c team in March 2014.

Born in Ambilly in 1988; French nationality. Studied international business at University of Savoie, Chambéry then Marketing/Communication at IAE, Annecy-le-Vieux. Joined the dl-a team in August 2012 and then the dl-c office since 2014. In charge of Administration / Secretarial work / Human Resources.
